Jay L. Wells, CPA, EA

President

Jay has over forty years of experience preparing minister tax returns.  He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and an Enrolled Agent (EA). He is a Highest Honors graduate of the University of Southern Mississippi with a BSBA (Bachelor of Science in Business Administration) degree in Professional Accountancy.  He was hired out of college by the New Orleans office of Arthur Andersen & Co. His corporate experience includes, among others, PepsiCo, Inc., Frito-Lay, Inc., and FedEx Corporation. He has an in-depth knowledge of a minister’s tax situation. Being a PK (preacher’s kid), his father an ordained elder in the Church of the Nazarene.  Jay has been in the ministry over 20 years as a bi-vocational minister and currently is the pastor of two rural congregations.

Cynthia C Wells

Cindy has a BME (Bachelor of Music Education) degree from Delta State University and has been the band director at several middle schools and high schools. She has organized and directed several middle school and high school chamber and show choirs. She organized and directed several award-winning high school theater productions. She retired from teaching after over 40 years, her last position as Director of Fine Arts at a large Catholic high school with responsibility for choirs, theater, jazz band and art. In addition to her involvement in Minister Tax Professionals, she is a real estate agent with a large realtor in the southeast. She is a partner with Jay in their ministry and plays the piano at the two churches they pastor.
